My Guide of Santiago

The city of Santiago, Chile represents a distinct blend of diversity. Everywhere you turn you’ll be faced with beautiful buildings, fun restaurants and cafes, and astounding collections of artwork.

There are tons of sights and attractions to keep visitors to Santiago occupied. If you’re visiting for the first time you’ll probably have a difficult time determining where to start. If this is the case, check out some of these attractions first.
In Santiago you can visit a several places where you can know much of our history and culture. It has: the "Bellas Artes" musseum, The national historical musseum, Plaza de Armas, Cousiño palace, " La Moneda", La Cjascona, etc; this places are so beautiful because they are national monuments.

You have to climb the "Santa Lucia" Hill. From the top of this hill you can see the entire city of Santiago as well as the beautiful Andes. The hill is littered with walking paths, beautiful gardens, statues, and even a small art museum.San Cristobal Hill, accessible via the aerial tram, is also a great place to stop if you’d like to enjoy some of the area’s astounding scenery. This hill is home to the Metropolitan Zoo, a myriad of gardens, and two gorgeous natural swimming pools, they are gret but a little bit expensive. You can go to Snow in Mountain range of Andes, this is a very turistic place of Santiago and exist a variety of places that they have it: La Parva, El Colorado , Farellones for example. Here you can do snowboard , sky and if you love the snow, you can stay here in the best and the most comfortable hotels.

If you don't want to cook and you need go out ,in Santiago we have many restorants and places of fast food.My favourite place is "El Rincón del Inca", this is a restorant in Bellavista where you can eat Peruvian and Italian food; Here the food is delicious and the attention is the best!. The Barrio Bellavista is a very good place to go if you want to go to restorants, pubs, discoteques because, here you can find a variety of this places, and if you are young and want to have fun all night this is the place to have it.

And finally if you want to go out of center and go to the surroundings of Santiago, you have to go to El cajón del Maipo, where you can find rivers, fields , a beutiful nature; you have to go to Pomaire and go to the restorants and buy things of "greda", they are native of Chile.

The music in my life

Music is very important in my life , I think that everything in this life has music, we listen to music everywhere but we do not realize that because this is something so natural to us.

I think that listening to music relaxes me , because when I feel bad or I have to study, I listen to music to lift myself up or concentrate. When I stay with my friends we always put some music on the radio because we sing together and we listen to the music.
Now, for my studies,I hear less and less music because I have trouble with my concentrating, not like before because now I have to study so much.Music to me in this moment is something that I can live with out it, is only an accompanymen to me.
The music that I hear is very different :I hear Coldplay, that is kind of pop music but is very calm, this group is from England.I like Iron Maiden, Metallica,Mago de Oz......those are METAL bands, and this kind of music is very energetic and cool; I like The Beatles, Nirvana, Belanova...those are pop bands to...and many many types of groups!!

When I go to the parties I like to hear or dance "Merengue" and "Salsa" because I think that this music is very contagius and when you listen it you feel that your feet move instantly. This music is from central America ,and for that I think that it is so contagius, sensual .

I download this music from internet with ARES, because I think that the CD's are to expensive and If we can downloading the music in the web and don't pay anything for this is more convenient than buy it ; I know that this is very inconsiderate of my part but I don't care.
