Do schools kill creativity?

Today I'm going to write about the conference of Sir Ken Robinson, where he talked about the mistakes that we are experimenting in our traditional education system, because we are suppressing the creativity and the expression of our children, because schools are centered more on mathematics, and sciences than in Arts, a very important part of the human being to develop his creativity. He said that all kids have a tremendous talent but we waste it, and the creativity is as important in educacion as literacy and we must treat it with equal importance.

I think that all that he speaked is absolutely truth, because now the school leave outside the development of arts and creativity to teach us absolutely structured things, which they "say" (they put that ideas in our minds) that will serve us much more in the future, preventing us to develop our creative side (a secret place in our mind that is anxious to go out into the light) that perhaps is our vocation that is being repressed by the system, because as they say: "If you're an artist, musician, dancer you will never have the oportunity to carry out your capabilities completely, because now do not exist sufficient opportunities to obtain money and work " . And that is a big failure in our labour and educational system, but now there are more spaces for the development of our creative capabilities although like hobbies.
